December stories

Tonight we had some more wonderful stories from Christian about the joyful times he had in his youth.  The one that sticks most in our minds is the reminiscing about the winters past… the fact that he gets emotional around this time of year… and this brings up beautiful memories of going skiing in the Alps (?) down slopes that were so steep that your knees would knock together from fear…

And, on the backside of the mountain, half way down the slope, lay a restaurant that made the most amazing bread… which they ate with gusto ... and drank large quantities of wine and beer before heading down the rest of the mountain on their skiis, until they reached the 500 year old mill where they were staying.
Here, they drank even more, and then, when they just about couldn’t stand, they lined themselves up along the “Bridge of Sighs” and, on the count of three, proceeded to vomit in unison by sticking their fingers down their throats.
Thus, they could then continue to drink some more and enjoy the night…

Ah what fun!
